<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Guess Who:</strong> बॉलीवुड का एक सुपरस्टार ऐसा भी है जो कभी स्ट्रगल के दिनों में पानी की टंकी के पीछे छिपकर सो जाता था तो कभी फुटपाथ पर भी सोना पड़ा. इसे अपनी पहली ही फिल्म के लिए नेशनल अवॉर्ड मिल गया था. आगे जाकर इसने अपनी एक्टिंग के साथ ही अपने डांस से भी लोगों का दिल जीता और कहलाया बॉलीवुड का डिस्को डांसर’.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">बॉलीवुड में डिस्को डांसर का टैग सिर्फ एक ही स्टार को मिला. क्या आप इस एक्टर को पहचान पाए हैं. साल 1982 में एक फिल्म आई थी ‘डिस्को डांसर’. इस फिल्म में मिथुन चक्रवर्ती ने काम किया था. फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर हिट रही और मिथुन दा को टैग मिला ‘डिस्को डांसर’.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">मिथुन चक्रवर्ती का जन्म 16 जून 1950 को पश्चिम बंगाल के कोलकाता में एक मध्यमवर्गीय फैमिली में हुआ था. बॉलीवुड में आने से पहले मिथुन नक्सली हुआ करते थे. हालांकि भाई की मौत के बाद मिथुन ने ये रास्ता छोड़ दिया और वे वापस अपने घर आ गए.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">नक्सलवाद छोड़कर घर आने के बाद मिथुन ने एक्टिंग की दुनिया में करियर बनाने का मन बनाया. पहले उन्होंने पुणे के फिल्म एंड टेलीविजन इंस्टीट्यूट से पढ़ाई की. इसके बाद वे मुंबई आ गए थे. हालांकि उनके पास रहने के लिए कोई ठिकाना नहीं था. मिथु दा ने एक इंटरव्यू में अपने स्ट्रगल को लेकर कहा था कि, ‘मैंने ऐसे दिन भी गुजारे हैं, जब मुझे भूखे पेट फुटपाथ पर सोना पड़ता था. मेरी रोते-रोते नींद लग जाती थी. कई बार तो मैं सोचता था कि अगले दिन खाना मिलेगा या नहीं. अगले दिन सोने का ठिकाना कहां होगा. मैं कई दिनों तक फुटपाथ पर सोया हूं.'</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>मिथुन ने पाल रखे हैं 116 कुत्ते</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">मिथुन चक्रवर्ती ने बॉलीवुड में अपने करियर की शुरुआत साल 1976 में आई फिल्म ‘मृगया’ से की थी. इस फिल्म के लिए उन्हें नेशनल अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया गया था. मिथुन असल जिंदगी में जानवरों से काफी लगाव रखते हैं. आपको ये जानकर हैरानी होगी कि उन्होंने 116 कुत्ते पला रखे हैं. उनके घर में 38 जबकि ऊटी (तमिलनाडु) वाले घर में 78 कुत्ते हैं.</p>
<p><strong>कई होटल और रेस्टोरेंट के मालिक हैं मिथुन</strong></p>
<p>मिथुन के मैसूर में कई रेस्टोरेंट और 18 कॉटेज हैं. मसिनागुड़ी में भी मिथुन दा के कॉटेज और 16 बंगले हैं. इसके अलावा वे ऊटी के मोनार्क होटल के मालिक भी हैं. </p>
