Alia Bhatt recently showcased her fashion sense in a corset top, paired with a black blazer and baggy pants, turning heads with her stylish look. As her film Jigra approaches its big screen release on October 11, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted it a U/A rating, revealing a runtime of 155 minutes, which is 2 hours and 35 minutes. Alia co-produced this Vasan Bala-directed film alongside Karan Johar.
In Jigra, Alia and Vedang Raina portray siblings, and their chemistry has already garnered audience praise. The trailer opens with Alia’s character receiving a late-night call about her brother Ankur’s (played by Vedang) arrest. Confused and anxious, she questions whether he’s done anything wrong and if his blood tests will be clean. The scene shifts to Ankur in a foreign courtroom, struggling to understand the proceedings as he is taken into custody.
Determined to rescue her brother, Alia embarks on a mission to see him. She wonders if harming herself would compel the authorities to grant her access, but her requests are repeatedly denied. The trailer escalates with intense action as Alia performs daring stunts to evade guards and take drastic steps to save her brother, who is being tortured in jail. Despite facing numerous obstacles, she remains resolute in her quest.
