Actress Ankita Lokhande marked a significant milestone in her career on June 1, commemorating 15 years since her debut with the television show Pavitra Rishta. Ankita took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the love and recognition she has received throughout her journey.

The heartfelt note acknowledged the show’s lasting impact, particularly her character Archana, which “became my identity.” She reflected on the serendipitous nature of the role, stating, “I sometimes feel I was destined to be Archana.” She also highlighted the show’s cultural significance, crediting it with introducing “Marathi culture to Hindi television.”
The 39-year-old actress post featured a video montage showcasing memorable moments from Pavitra Rishta alongside glimpses of her later projects, including the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and her appearance on Bigg Boss 17.
The caption paid a special tribute to her former co-star and partner Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita expressed her immense gratitude for his support, particularly during the initial stages of her career. “But my journey wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t have Sushant’s support,” she wrote. “I didn’t even know how to act when I started Pavitra Rishta. He taught me, and I will always be thankful for him.”
Lokhande concluded by expressing her appreciation for the television industry, acknowledging it as the platform where she first experienced fandom and stardom. “People could resonate with the show because of the innocence the show and the people involved in it had,” she stated.
Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrayed Archana and Manav respectively in Pavitra Rishta, were in a relationship for several years before parting ways. SSR tragically passed away in June 2020.
