During the 48th Toronto International Film Festival, the Bhumi Pednekar starrer Thank You For Coming had its grand gala debut and it seems that the film earned a lot of praise from critics. Led by Bhumi Pednekar the film entails an ensemble cast of Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi.

After the screening, we hear that the stellar cast along with producers Anil Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, and director Karan Boolani, received a standing ovation from an enthusiastic audience eager to discuss the film. Followed by outstanding critical praise that Thank You For Coming garnered at the prestigious film festival, Bhumi Pednekar broke down over the response. Bhumi Pednekar, who is known for her unconventional roles in films, got overwhelmed with all the love that her performance and the film Thank You For Coming received from audiences at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
She posted about it on Instagram with a heartfelt note saying, “You made me cry.. Thank you Toronto for the love. You’ve given me memories for a lifetime. What happened at the red carpet and screening is something I’ll never forget.. Thank you @tiff_net @cameronpbailey and the jury for selecting our film. This has been such a wonderful experience. We have begun with a bang. Can’t wait to experience this back home”.
Thank You For Coming revolves around a woman’s struggle as she finds to achieve the perfect orgasm and ends up fulfilling her dream one night. But the only glitch, she doesn’t known who helped her achieve it. While the film is being screened at the festival, it is slated for release on October 6, 2023.
