The Bollywood Hungama OTT Fest, held on October 3, 2024 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai brought together leading figures from the entertainment world to examine the fast-paced evolution of India’s OTT platforms. Over the course of two days, celebrities engaged in thought-provoking discussions on the shifting dynamics of digital content creation. One of the stand out sessions was of Siddharth Anand, hosted by Mayank Shekhar.

Siddharth Anand said, “When a film doesn’t do that well, I try to analyze them. Most of the times, I get the answer. Sometimes, I don’t.”
Siddharth continued, “When I look back at Pathaan (2023), there’s a lot that the film outperformed. It did amazingly well. I don’t think there’s anything I can change. Everything fell into place beautifully- the action, music, etc. There were also God’s blessings too!”
Siddharth Anand’s recent film Fighter (2024), starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, didn’t set the box office on fire like Pathaan. When asked what he’d like to change about it, he answered, “I find Fighter my finest work. Its also my most evolved and honest work. What I would like to change is that I won’t do those beach songs anymore! I would try to stay honest and true to the genre and also be very honest in its treatment.”
Siddharth Anand further stated, “Otherwise, I still stand by Fighter. It had great performances and had the best VFX. It was a very good quality film.”
Coming back to the songs, he added, “I think ‘Sher Khul Gaye’ still works. Its set in the academy where they celebrate after a great event. The air force do celebrate. They sing, dance and even drink.”
