The name of the company came about organically during a casual discussion among friends. Aziz suggested incorporating the idea of dreams into the name since that was the essence of their vision. After considering options like “Dreams Ltd.,” Shah Rukh suggested the name “Dreamz Unlimited,” which perfectly captured their aspirations and sense of boundless possibilities.
To formalize their dream, Aziz, Juhi, and Shah Rukh each contributed Rs. 5 lakh, opening a bank account as their first step toward building the company. However, the guidance of seasoned professionals like Yash Chopra and Jay Mehta proved invaluable. They helped the trio establish proper documentation and structure, ensuring the company had a solid foundation to support its ambitious goals.
Dreamz Unlimited soon began its journey in filmmaking, with its early project like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani reflecting the ethos of its founders.
