While one part of the Bollywood entertainment industry is ringing in the Diwali festivities, a few others have divd deep into the promotions of their upcoming films as it nears release. Among them is Kartik Aaryan who will be reprising Rooh Baba in the much-loved franchise film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. While the film is scheduled to release next week, he, the film’s director Anees Bazmee and producer Bhushan Kumar are neck-deep in the promotions of the film. However, despite the same, they decided to take some time and joined a bevy of producers like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Ektaa R Kapoor, Mahaveer Jain to discuss the plan for IFFI aka International Film Festival of India, which has been scheduled next month.

We hear that the entire team decided to host a meeting with the Joint Secretary of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Mr. Prithul Kumar. Sources shared that despite the ongoing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 promotional schedule, Kartik Aaryan, Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee decided to take time out from it to discuss about this highly prestigious film festival and that they were joined by Ektaa R Kapoor and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who too are in the midst of completing multiple projects. The meeting was also attended by financer-producer Mahaveer Jain.
Although the details of the festival continue to stay under wraps, a day ago, there were reports about the kind of films which will be a part of this Indian film festival celebrating cinema from all across the country. The festival is expected to be held from November 22 to 26 in the picturesque state of Goa, just like every year. And this year too, it is expected to be a star-studded week with multiple intriguing movies scheduled to be screened. Apart from celebrating commercial cinema, the festival also aims at promoting non-feature films. A jury will be chosen to help in the selection of these movies which will be screened at the festival.
