Kiara Advani does Garba barefoot on screen for the first time in Satyaprem Ki Katha : Bollywood News

After the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in 2022, the jodi of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani is all set to return on the big screen. This time, the onscreen couple will showcase their romantic side in the upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha. The movie is set in Gujarat and needless to say, it will be filled with their culture references including Garba. Kiara too will be seen exploring the dance form and it is being said that she performed on two numbers barefoot for the first time.

A source close to the actress said, “Kiara Advani will be seen performing a highly energetic garba dance routine in two songs from her upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha. The actress has shot and performed for both the songs barefoot. Her hard work and dedication to the craft will be visible in her performances.” The source added, “Kiara has been phenomenal in Satyaprem Ki Katha. She not only shot for the two songs bare-footed and with heavy costumes but also rehearsed for both the songs back to back with full enthusiasm and dedication. These songs are going to make the audience fall in love with her even more.”

While the first track sung by Monali Thakur is the introductory song of Kiara Advani as Katha in the film, the second one is a duet featuring her with co-star Kartik Aaryan. Interestingly, this will also be Kiara’s first appearance on the big screen after her much-talked about wedding with co-actor Sidharth Malhotra.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Satyaprem Ki Katha is directed by National Award winning director Sameer Vidwans and it also features Rajpal Yadav, Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. The musical romance film is all set to hit the big screens on June 29.
