Salim Khan on Salman Khan’s Involvement in the Blackbuck Case

Speaking to ABP News, Salim Khan recalled his conversation with Salman after the blackbuck hunting incident. “I had asked Salman who did it, and he said that he was not even present at the spot. He said that when the incident happened, he was not even in the car. And he never lies to me,” said Khan.

Salim Khan further explained that his son does not indulge in harming animals. “Usko nahin hai yeh sab shauk jaanwaron ko maarne ka. Jaanwaron se mohabbat karta hai woh,” said the veteran writer, reinforcing Salman’s love for animals. He went on to add that Salman “doesn’t even kill a cockroach,” painting a picture of a man known for his helpful nature in both personal and professional circles.

“Kyun Maange Maafi?” – Salim Khan Questions the Apology Demand

In the interview, Salim Khan also addressed the ongoing threats to Salman’s life, particularly those from the Bishnoi gang. He stated that the demand for Salman to apologise was unfounded since, according to him, the actor had done nothing wrong. “They are asking him (Salman) to apologise. Kyun maange maafi? Has he done anything wrong? Have you investigated it?” he questioned. Khan also dismissed the idea of an apology, saying it would be tantamount to admitting guilt for something his son did not do.

He highlighted the fact that hunting incidents are common in the area where the incident took place, adding that their family has never even used a gun. “Saying sorry means accepting that we have done something wrong,” he reiterated, standing firm in his belief that Salman is innocent.

Tightened Security for Salman Khan Amid Ongoing Threats

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has continued working on his upcoming projects but under strict security measures. Reports indicate that the actor is now accompanied by a Y+ security detail. Salman has resumed shooting for the film Sikandar and also filmed episodes of Bigg Boss 18 with over 60 security personnel on the set. Additionally, those entering the sets are now required to provide Aadhaar cards as an extra precaution.

The threats to Salman escalated after the murder of NCP MLA Baba Siddique, a close associate of the actor.
