The trailer launch of Mere Husband Ki Biwi was held at a multiplex in Mumbai and was attended by actors Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar and Harsh Gujral, producers Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh and director Mudassar Aziz. Since the film is all about marriage and spouses, Arjun Kapoor was asked about it.

When prodded about his marriage plans, Arjun Kapoor said, “When it happens, I’ll let you all know. Today, we are here to discuss the film. We are here to celebrate the film as well.”
He continued, “As for my personal life, I have allowed enough conversation and chatter whenever I have been comfortable. When the time is right, I’ll not hesitate to speak about it. You all know how I am as a person. Right now, let me celebrate Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Jab meri biwi ka waqt aayega, tab hum uske baare mein sahi waqt pe baat kar lenge.”
At a Diwali party held by Raj Thackeray a few days before the release of Singham Again, Arjun Kapoor had said, “Ab main single hoon, relax karo (No, I am now single. Relax),” while interacting with the media. The paparazzi video spread like wild fire. The Diwali party was also attended by his co-stars Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff and director Rohit Shetty.
At the trailer launch of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, a journalist raised laughs when Mudassar Aziz and Jackky Bhagnani were asked if the latter’s real-life biwi Rakul Preet Singh ever asked him to cut the role of Bhumi Pednekar. Bhumi Pednekar, meanwhile, said, “Rakul is my sister and she’s married to my best friend. So, now she has also become one of my closest friends. Kisi bahut hi insecure aadmi ne yeh kahaani shuru ki hogi ki do ladkiyan ek dusre ki dushman hoti hai. Humne itne maze kiye hai ki main aapko bata nahin sakti!”
Mere Husband Ki Biwi releases in cinemas on February 21.
