Like all of us… Since a long time… A few questions keep coming into my mind –
1. a) What is real success?
2. b) What is true happiness?
3. c) What is the purpose of my life?
Everyone finds their own answer.
On this auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I’d like to express my gratitude to all my Gurus, my Icons and my inspirations. I am deeply grateful to them for awakening my inner calling.
– Our Honourable Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) for leaving a long-lasting impact with his journey and with this life-changing philosophy – ‘Bas wahin jeete hai jo dusron ke liye jeete hain’. Sir, our country is blessed to have you as our PM. You have shown us the way – how India can be ‘vishwaguru’ again and how we can lead the world and win their hearts with our profound ancient philosophies, traditions and values.
– Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for his mission to bring a smile to every face across the globe with spiritual wisdom and make our world, stress and violence free. Guru ji, what you are doing is incredible. You have taught us that true victory is to have control over our own mind, our own self and the key is to live in the moment.
– Aamir bhai (Aamir Khan), Sooraj Barjatya ji and Raju Hirani ji (Rajkumar Hirani) for making me realise the magic of cinema and its massive impact, and how to live a simple and honest life in the midst of this glamour filled world.
– Nikhil Kamath for setting up the right example for today’s youth. The wealth we earn belongs to society. We must share it with people who really need it the most.
Heartfelt thanks to Vallabh Bhai Bhansali, Jyoti Deshpande, Motilal Oswal, Himanshu Shah and Ravi Oswal for strengthening my faith in goodness.
As we all know, the entertainment industry is a very powerful medium. It influences deeply. It has the ability to uplift people’s state of mind and bring balance to society. I respect every creative individual.
I strongly believe that creative people play a significant role to build character and character is a strong pillar to build the Nation. I believe it’s time for me to be fully committed to my inner calling – to utilise all my time, energy and resources for a deeper & more meaningful purpose:
– Strengthening Positive, Healthy and Family Entertainment.
– Bringing More Joy, Love, Hope, Happiness, Goodness, Wisdom and Virtues of Humanity with this Inspiring Medium.
Our youth is at a juncture where they get influenced very easily. I can feel the urgency & importance of focusing on it now, more than ever. I have realised that mere materialistic gains for myself, cannot be my goal. I must dedicate this life to a greater purpose.
With continuous inspiration from my Gurus, I promise myself that from now onwards, all my efforts shall be towards this purpose.
Today, with a humble heart, I would like to thank all the amazing filmmakers, colleagues, and each and every one who touched my life – my friends and family, my elder brother Surendra bhai – I just wish to be 10 % of what you are – and to my wife Neetu, for always being by my side.
With the blessings of my parents, and elders and the support from all of you, I hope I will be able to follow the path of my role models. The journey continues… With more enthusiasm.
