The IIFA 2024 ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi on September 28, celebrating the best in Indian cinema. The night highlighted Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, which won the coveted Best Film award. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar accepted the award on behalf of the team.
In acting accolades, Shah Rukh Khan won Best Actor for his impactful performance in Jawan, while Rani Mukerji received Best Actress for her portrayal of a determined mother in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, a film that resonated strongly with audiences.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra was honored as Best Director for 12th Fail, a biopic showcasing the inspiring journey of IPS officer Manoj Sharma, portrayed by Vikrant Massey.
