Richa Chadha is among the newest Bollywood actresses to embrace motherhood, having welcomed her baby girl with Ali Fazal on July 16, 2024. In a recent interview, Richa playfully refers to her daughter as the ‘boss,’ noting, We have a 4-kilo boss at home and we work as per her timelines now.” She described the transition into motherhood as a period of significant change, finding comfort in the fact that everyone comes from a woman.

In her conversation with Hindustan Times Richa Chadha revealed that she and her husband Ali Fazal now have a 4-kg boss at home and are adjusting to her schedule. She described this period of life as filled with new experiences, highlighting the highs, such as getting eight hours of sleep, and the lows, including fatigue and brain fog. Richa also found solace in the realization that everyone’s journey begins with a woman.

The actress admitted to experiencing numerous changes and said, “The changes are too many, both physical and emotional, but I find my instinct to be sharper now.” Regarding her recovery and balancing work and personal life, she mentioned that she is currently focusing on nesting and recuperating but has begun working on her productions from home online. She plans to resume her acting work in November.

Richa Chadha recently posted a sweet photo of herself visiting the gym, just 45 days after having her first kid. On Thursday, September 5, she shared a selfie on her Instagram story and wrote, “Back at the gym, after 45 days of giving birth.” Richa is seen striking a pose in front of a mirror, clad in a black patterned T-shirt, checked leggings, and sports shoes, exuding a casual yet chic gym appearance.

On the work front, Richa Chadha’s recent project features her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first OTT series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which premiered on May 1, 2024. In this series, she portrays Lajjo, a courtesan whose life unravels following the rejection of her love for a Nawab, earning her significant acclaim for the performance. Looking ahead, Richa will be appearing in various upcoming projects, including Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai.
