Ryan Renolds recalls sharing an imaginary friend named ‘Pookie’ with his brother: "It’s something we still talk about today"
Having an imaginary friend is often a cherished part of many people’s childhoods. For some, it’s a playful escape into a world of imagination where they can create characters and adventures, while some may outgrow their imaginary friends as they grow older. These memories and experiences shared with them can leave a lasting impact, either way. Reynolds, reminiscing about his childhood, opened up and shared that he had an imaginary friend named ‘Pookie’.
Ryan recalls, “He looked like a teddy bear. My brother Jeff and I shared this imaginary friend back and forth. It was a kind of weird bond we had. It’s something we still talk about today.”
IF stars Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell alongside many more as the wonderfully unique characters that reflect the incredible power of a child’s imagination.
