Salman Khan’s forthcoming projects seem to be in a state of suspension. As the threat to his life increases, his work commitments are being reduced to almost zero for now.

Salman Khan’s most hard-hit project due to his security concerns is Sikandar: “The way ahead is still very unclear”

“It is no more enough to provide him stern security. For some time now, Salman would have to lie really know. He won’t be shooting for anything for quite a while, indefinitely I’d say,” a close friend of Salman revealed.

The most hard-hit Salman project is Sikandar, which was to release for Eid 2025. Would it be able to make it on time?

According to Salman’s close friend, “Abhi kuchh nahin kaha jaa sakta hai. Sikandar requires a whole lot of choreographed action. Director Murugadoss needed Salman’s full attention. But right now, that seems impossible. The way ahead is still very unclear. Right now, the most important thing is Salman and his family’s safety. That won’t be compromised under any circumstance.”

Salman Khan has a cameo in the Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, which is being talked about. Reports of Salman shooting for his special cameo in Baby John have spread like wildfire. These may be shortly countermanded by his inability to participate due to security reasons.

“Post the slaying of Baba Siddiqui, Salman Khan has cancelled all his engagements for now. The cops have advised him to stay as much out of the public eye. So, for now, no engagements,” a filmmaker close to both the Khans told this writer.

The situation in the Hindi film industry is currently volatile. “Kab kya ho jayega, kuchh pataa nahin. Those days of uncertainty are back,” said an insider.
