Fans and critics alike are buzzing with excitement over Sobhita’s portrayal of Tara, an independent interior designer grappling with her beliefs about love and marriage.

In a recent interview, Sonali Kulkarni, who plays Hema, a character seeking self-worth and love, praised her co-actor Sobhita Dhulipala’s performance and kind nature. “Sobhita is an extremely intelligent person, voracious reader, and a very gentle human being. It was a pleasure to work with her,” Sonali stated. Expressing her surprise at Sobhita’s stark departure from the Tara she plays in the television series Made In Heaven, Sonali continued, “I couldn’t believe she is the same actor who plays Tara in Made In Heaven. That was an excellent performance, and this is totally different. I am really looking forward to her career. I hope she does well and makes all of us proud,” she emphasized, highlighting Sobhita’s versatility and expressing her eagerness to watch Sobhita in future projects.

Sobhita has portrayed characters named Tara twice before, in Made In Heaven and Kaalakaandi, which adds a fun coincidence to her acting journey. Meanwhile, Love, Sitara aims at marking another milestone in Sobhita’s career. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress had opened up about her character in the film wherein she had said, “Sitara is headstrong but also extremely emotional and impulsive as a character, it’s an exciting mix”.

Directed by Vandana Kataria and set against the backdrop of a cross-cultural marriage, the film deals with the complexities of modern relationships, dysfunctional families and what it takes to overcome uncomfortable truths. Also starring Rajeev Siddhartha as the leading man, the film also stars an ensemble of actors in pivotal characters. The movie exclusively premiered on ZEE5 on September 27.
