YouTuber Abhradeep Saha, who was more popular by the name of Angry Rantman, died at the age of 27 on Wednesday. The social media influencer, who became popular for his unique commentary style on football, cricket and other sports, was admitted to the Narayana Cardiac Hospital in Bengaluru, due to some serious health complications, according to reports. Saha underwent open heart surgery. But after that he suffered multiple organ failure and was kept on a life support system. After a couple of days, his condition worsened according to several social media accounts.

“With profound grief and sorrow, we hereby declare the sad and untimely demise of Abhradeep Saha AKA #AngryRantman today at 10:18 hrs IST,” a post on Saha’s social media handles read. “He touched the lives of millions with his Honesty, humour and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. As we mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and hold on to the cherished memories we share together. Inspiring change one rant at a time. 17.04.2024 Saha Family”

On Sunday, Saha’s father Soumyadeep shared a health update: “He is really in a critical situation with a life-saving support system, pray for a fast recovery”.

Saha was a die-hard Chelsea fan and his ‘no passion, no vision’ rant on the Premier League club went viral in 2017. From then on, he made several commentary videos on sports. His minimalistic video setting coupled with some great logic and a unique passionate vocal tone made him popular.

Saha’s death was mourned by several fan clubs as well as football clubs.

Abhradeep, who first went viral in 2017, also commented on films and cricket. He had close to 500k subscribers on YouTube,
