Filmmaker SS Rajamouli and actor Ram Charan have praised the recently released Telugu trailer of Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. The film, which also features Vedang Raina, is set to release in both Hindi and Telugu on October 11.

Alia Bhatt previously worked with SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan in RRR. The two South stars promoted the Telugu version of Jigra through their X handles.

Jigra (meaning courage) follows a sister’s desperate efforts to save her brother, who has been arrested in a foreign country. The film is co-produced by Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Speaking about the project, Alia previously said, “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion, and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, enduringly timeless, and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them to life.”
The film is directed by Vasan Bala.
