World Lion Day 2023: जंगल का राजा को कहे जाने वाले शेर को बेशक किसी परिचय की जरूरत नहीं, लेकिन आज जरूरत है दुनियाभर में तेजी से घटती शेरों की संख्या से सबको परिचित कराने की. इसके पीछे कई कारण हैं, जैसे- ग्लोबल वॉर्मिंग और तेजी से नष्ट होते जंगल आदि. यही वजह है कि शेर धीरे-धीरे कम होते जा रहे हैं. शेरों के मौत की बढ़ती संख्या पर रोक लगाने और लंबे समय तक इन्हें सुरक्षित रखने के लिए हर साल वैश्विक संगठनों द्वारा जागरुकता अभियान चलाया जाता है. जानकारी के बता दें कि, हर साल 10 अगस्त को दुनियाभर में विश्व शेर दिवस (World Lion Day) के रूप में मनाया जाता है.
